Closing!?!

We are trying to close by next friday! I hope it all goes well. Donny has to go to Challis tonight until possibly next tuesday. This is not good timing. We are suppose to have people help us move our stuff from the storage room to the garage on saturday. Our bank guy says we need to finish the grout in our bathroom ( I will probably do this saturday night) hope I don't screw it up cause the tile looks awesome. Carpet comes monday. Our final bank inspection is hopefully thursday so hopefully I can arrange our other inspections so we can get our occupancy certificate by Wed. Our refigerator is in and working, dishwasher and microwave in and working, the heating guys are suppose to come and finish up today. I am getting a new couch delivered on Friday. AHH stress. I just need to breath and calm down a little. Its just hard making sure all the little important things are done.

Happy 5 Year Anniversary

5 Years Ago we got hitched. Sometimes it seems we have been together forever, sometimes it feels like moments. We are both happy with the direction our lives are heading. We are proud of the accomplishments we have made.


10 Great things about being married to Donny
1. He works hard for our family and our future
2. He doesn't complain to much about my shopping habits
3. He is a great Dad to Italia
4. He is building me a beautiful home (that is almost done)
5. He lets me feel in charge because I like thinking I am in charge (most of the time we are equals especially big decisions)
6. He puts up with my messes, my constant worrying, my uptightness. ( I know thats not a word)
7. He is perfect for me (he is quiet and shy like me so he doesn't embarrass me.
8. When we are not trying to finish our house he gives me Melodee time.
9. Even after a long day of work he still comes home and will give Italia her bath (for some reason I hate this time but for them its play time instead of chore time)
10. He took me to the Temple and is a Priesthood holder.

Yet Again...More House...it will stop soon. Maybe:)

Sleepy girl

So this is a picture of Italia sleeping today during her nap. Her nap is approaching 3 hours and it is 4pm and so I went in to wake her up and found this and thought is was cute so I took a pic. And she is still sleeping. She really needs to wake up so she will go to sleep tonight. Notice the plastic horse next to her. She likes to bring random things to go to bed. No soft teddy bears for her. She has also been known to bring cars to bed with her.

House Update with Pics

Obviously we still have a lot of little things to finish. It sure is nice to have it look a little more finished though. I am loving it more and more everytime I see it.

Above: That white stuff is bead board. I love it. It will remain white for moving in purposes but then I will paint it. I haven't decided if I want dark brown or cranberry. Any suggestions. (cranberry is my accent color)

Quick Update.....Potty/House

Just thought I would do a quick update with a more detailed one to come in a few days. Italia is doing really well in potty training. I am not pushing it or forcing it just getting her use to it. I think the way we are going that she will be potty trained by the time she is 2!! one month to go. Lets see how it works. I will be doing a couple more days putting her on the potty a lot but not forcing it to much then I think next week we will step up the seriousness of it.

House wise things are going fairly smoothly except when I checked my checking account on Saturday to see it over drawn by $131,000 yes you read that right $131,000. Lets just say banking mistake and it is now fixed:) I didn't know I was that big of a shopper:) Hardwood floors are in!!! and look awesome. My cabinets come tomorrow! so I will take pics probably friday and post them with everything. Window trims and most baseboards are in the painting just needs a few touchups here and there. the laundry room is tiled, closet shelves are in, a lot of the lighting is in. Its getting closer but there are still a lot of little things to do. And besides the fact that you have to tread through about a foot of mud to get to our house all is good.
